PDD Edmonton is responsible for providing supports and services to adults with developmental disabilities through two main systems: direct operations and community services. Direct operations, under the name Residential and Support Services (RSS), includes: Eric Cormack Centre, a multi-level building where 28 people live; group living arrangements in the community; and an activity program. Individuals receiving supports from RSS tend to have complex care needs.

Community Services manages a range of supports that are provided by community service providers, guardians and families. Community support coordinators, intake coordinators, behavioural specialists, counsellors and contract consultants are some of the staff members in community services.
