PDD NW presents Northern Rhythms

Space is limited to 100 participants and 30 support staff. Participants and support staff must register.

The Persons with Developmental Disabilities Northwest Comunity Board is proud to host Northern Rhythms, a Grande Prairie based group that helps people express themselves through music.Using drums, a Northern Rhythms facilitator leads participants through a series of activities and helps participants awaken the spirit within.

Because the music created by participants is improvised, the focus is on participation, not performance. Participants are encouraged to express themselves through rhythm.

Drum circles led by Northern Rhythms are inclusive environments where participants can enjoy a recreational rhythmic experience and recognize the power of music.
