    February Web Letter

Tansi.

As we struggle through the winter months our thoughts turn to the new year and what the future brings.

Planning for a whole year ahead can be hard work. We always like to come up with something new that we can look forward to. This upcoming year we would like to broaden all our horizons so we have decided to try and travel a little farther a field. We are researching some new adventures for us so stay tuned and see what we come up with. We want to experience all the different nuances in native traditions as we have members from all over the province and Nunavut. Each time you enter a new community you meet new people, make new friends and experience different ways of life.

This is what we want for our group.

With January being such a cold month we just want to thank those who were able to make it to regular class days. We also wanted to commend those from out of town for staying safe at home, and those with the flu for keeping it to yourselves. We appreciate all the efforts.

For group members who have some difficulties with mobility you will be getting a few surprises in the next while. We are working with Computer Connections, based at Michener, to bring in some adaptive equipment. I won’t say any more, but it will be very interesting to watch what you can do.

So bundle up and stay warm, spring is not far away ( I hope). Take care.
