January Web Letter
Happy New Year. We hope your holiday season was a time of family, rest and fun.
We are gearing up for a new year and doing some planning for future outings and events. We hope that if you have heard of any interesting places or events to attend that you will drop us a line or give us a call and let us know so we can include them.
December was a very busy month. We attended numerous parties at our members homes and very much enjoyed them. We would like to thank you all for your hospitality. We also had our own Christmas party and were treated to superb entertainment, delicious food and the company of our friends. We hope you also enjoyed the event.
Also last month we joined the Artsparks program and spent a couple of visits creating pottery, in this case rattles and bowls. We then returned to paint of creations and left them with the very capable Isobel to fire. We now have our masterpieces back and they are beautiful. This is a wonderful program and we highly encourage you to give it a try. Contact us if you would like to get a hold of them and set something up.
January will see us hanging around town. When we plan our events we try to plan around the weather and we thought it would be cold and miserable so planned to stay home. Wow, were we wrong. Nonetheless, we will be doing some cooking, jewellery making and playing some games. Stop by and check us out any Tuesday at 1pm to see what we are up to.
