March Web Letter
Well that was an amazing winter. As I write this we are receiving what is really our only snowfall of the year.
We are heading toward spring and with spring come pow-wows. We will be concentrating learning about drums and pow-wows the next couple of months so that when we attend these events we all have a better knowledge of what to expect.
This month we are taking a little space and dedicating it to the support staff who make what we do possible. They receive basically no recognition for all that they do.
We watch you every week, rain or shine, attend our activities. You always have a big smile on your face and eagerly participate in whatever we ask of you. From wet and somewhat odorous hide crafts, to putting up a tepee, to traveling to reserves and much more. You unfailingly give those you serve, and us, your undying support and trust. You have no idea how much this means.
You are also OUR biggest advocates. You spread the word, bring in new members, and make every experience fun and educational.
We always appreciate you and your efforts. You are all amazing people, both in a business sense and personally and we truly appreciate all that you do.
Some of you have been with us almost from day one. You have had patience while we learned, forgiven us when we erred and laughed with us at our mistakes. We also watch the friendships that have formed amongst the members, support staff and those who visit the group. There is never a them and us attitude…just us.
So our hats off to each and every one of you. You continue to make us proud.
