    November Web Letter

As the days turn much colder and whiter, you will find us very happily settling into a much more permanent home. Barb and I have been very busy planning and unpacking. We hope you will find the new space much easier to access and work in. For those who don't know it is in building #210 on the north side of Michener Services.

We have some great ideas that we have been toying with and that we will announce at a little later date. We certainly can't complain about the amount of space we now have available and we hope to use it constructively. Those who attend our classes are going to be making cultural decorations for quite a while to fill up the wall space.

We will be having our open house on Nov. 30th from 1-4 pm. We hope everyone interested will be able to stop by and see what we have been up to. This is a great opportunity for the other agencies to come up and see what we are offering.

Every year we collect hides from the hunters. These hides are then taken to Bowden Institute and made into rawhide which we then use for crafts, drums etc. So, should you have hides or know of someone who does, please contact us at the numbers listed on the home page and we can arrange to pick them up.

We have had a couple of interesting emails from people in other provinces asking for assistance. We are very pleased to hear from you and hope that we have been of assistance. Very nice to know that other agencies are also attempting to fill the void in others lives.

Take care.
