Who
We Are
PDD
Central's First Nations Circle of Friends group provides
opportunities for individuals with developmental
disabilities to experience a variety of cultural and
heritage activities. Some of these individuals have
lacked opportunities to become involved with their
aboriginal background as they often live away from their
families.
This
group's mission is to close that cultural gap through:
First
Nations Circle of Friends is open to all aboriginal adult
individuals with developmental disabilities who are from a
variety of aboriginal cultures. We promote individualized
support. Our activities include:

group is open to prospective members from Red Deer and area.
Although at present we can't accept children as members, we do
hold public events and children are welcome to attend.
Membership can be obtained by:

How
We're Different
This
group is different from any other First Nations organization in
the community. We adapt and provide cultural activities based on
the individual's mental and physical abilities. This is
accomplished through sight, sound, taste, touch and smell.
