Plain Language

Plain Language is the term used to describe writing that is easy to understand.

Self Advocates who are part of the Central Alberta Self Advocates (CASA) group are working to create Plain Language documents for the Central Region Community Board. They have taken training on Plain Language and are now creating Plain Language documents. The Plain Language documents that CASA has made are listed below.

The CASA group has formed a Society to do plain language translation. Here is a link to the CASA Plain Language Society website.
