The Personal Development Team
The Personal Development Team (PDT) works with individuals, families, service organizations and community groups in areas such as - Behavioural and Psychological Assessments; Consultation, ranging from Brief Contact to Intensive Support; Community Development support in areas such as Abuse Protocol, CET Standards, agency development, and staff and group training.
The team focuses on Positive Procedures, Adaptive Skills, Behaviour Management, Staff Training, Counselling, Problem Solving, and interactions with colleagues in efforts to support individuals with developmental disabilities. An individual's overall Personal Development is often an outcome of the work we do. Our work is grounded in the four values established by Central Region - Respect, Integrity, Collaboration and Optimism.
Our team strives to have a positive impact on the Service Delivery System. We believe that we can achieve this by taking the personal responsibility to focus on the Core Values and by promoting the Personal Development of those we work with.
