Making Community Councils Work - Vegreville Community Council

Overview of the project: Participants of the Vegreville Community Council, through interviews in the Northeast and Central regions, identified a number of issues that limited the council’s ability to function at an optimal level of efficiency. Two recommendations for further development included a) the need for the Community Councils to evaluate themselves by reassessing their roles, priorities and goals, and b) strategize on how to inform the whole community about the existence of the Community Councils.
