Community Services is responsible for:

• Providing general information
• Screening for eligibility
• Coordinating presentations and information sessions
• Planning with individuals and their family and friends
• Assisting approximately 50 service providers to develop new and innovative ways to respond to the requests of individuals
• Ensuring that standards are met by service providers
  Advising service providers of applicable policies and procedures
• Managing the funding for individuals, families, service providers and the community at large to develop best practices and optimal supports
• Partnering with individuals, families, and/or service providers who are experiencing difficulties planning and responding effectively to complex situations. Specific supports could include behavioral consultation, counseling and training.
