If you are passionate about ensuring adult Albertans with developmental disabilities live in inclusive communities and have access to the supports and services they need, you may be an ideal candidate for a position as a board member.
PDD Boards in the South, Calgary, Central,
Northwest and Northeast regions currently have vacancies for board members.
Community board members are vital in determining regional priorities, allocating regional funding, developing and implementing service delivery plans, assessing community needs and ensuring people in the region they represent have access to the supports and services they need.
Board members are appointed by the Minister of Seniors and Community Supports for terms up to three years and may serve additional term(s)
if appointed again by the Minister.
